Susan Stamberg
Broadcast Journalist
Nationally renowned broadcast journalist Susan Stamberg is special correspondent for NPR. Stamberg is the first woman to anchor a national nightly news program, and has won every major award in broadcasting. She has been inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame and the Radio Hall of Fame. Beginning in 1972, Stamberg served as co-host of NPR’s award-winning newsmagazine All Things Considered for 14 years. She then hosted Weekend Edition Sunday, and now serves as guest host of NPR’s Morning Edition and Weekend Edition Saturday, in addition to reporting on cultural issues for all the NPR programs.

Narrator BD WONG made his Broadway debut in M. Butterfly, creating the role of Song Liling, for which he won the 1988 Tony Award for Best Actor. He is the only actor to be honored with the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Clarence Derwent Award and Theater World Award for a single role. The San Francisco native is also widely recognized for his performances in the box office hits, Father of the Bride and Jurassic Park. Wong was a regular cast member on the HBO series OZ and currently appears as Dr. George Huang on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Mariel Hemingway

Ms. Hemingway is best known for her on-screen performances starting at the young age of 13 when she debuted in Lipstick. Four years later her work in Woody Allen’s Manhattan earned her an Oscar™ nomination, and she went on to make 30 films, including Star 80 and The Contender. In 2003, she published a best-selling memoir, Finding My Balance, and in 2007, she released her second book, Mariel Hemingway’s Healthy Living from the Inside. Ms. Hemingway traveled to Cuba for the first time in 1997 to retrace her grandfather’s footsteps through his villa, his various haunts in Havana, and even the Cuban port, Mariel, after which she was named.
Wendell Pierce

Wendell Pierce is recognized by film audiences for his extensive work for directors including Woody Allen, Spike Lee, Brian De Palma, Barry Levinson, Sidney Lumet and Paul Schrader. Hailed for his portrayal of Det. Bunk Moreland on five critically acclaimed seasons of ”The Wire,” his current series, “Treme,” debuted in April 2010 and reunites him with the same creative team from HBO. Set in post-Katrina New Orleans it chronicles the rebuilding of the city through the eyes of local musicians. Wendell is a native of New Orleans and has worked to rebuild the neighborhood in which he was raised. He formed Ponchartrain Park Neighborhood Association, a non-profit corporation, to rebuild 350 affordable and environmentally friendly homes.
John Patrick

John Patrick has more than thirty years experience in commercial television production as on-camera and voice-over talent, producer, news reporter and anchor. He has written, produced and narrated a silver Telly award-winning episode of the television series In America: The Vietnamese Story for Echo Pictures and the International Channel. He has written and narrated the television series for A&E (the Art’s and Entertainment Network), First Flights with Neal Armstrong. Prior to that he was host and a producer for Atlanta, Georgia version of the nationally syndicated nightly television program, PM Magazine. John’s career includes anchoring television news and reporting for Atlanta television station, WAGA-TV, Charlotte television station, WSOC-TV and Lima, Ohio television station WLIO-TV.
