Dan utilizes a select group of instrumentalists in his ongoing quest to find just the right voice to support each show’s narrative. Beginning with the 2003 High Definition episodes, Dan has also provided the final mix and overall sound design on select episodes.
Dan’s other compositions for Echo Pictures includes scoring two one-hour HGTV specials (The Rose Story and The Orchid Mystique); the theme and incidental music for the “In America” series on the International Channel (The Vietnamese Story; The Russian Story; The Chinese Story; The Asian Indian Story); and the music for the 96-epiode series Profiles on Knowledge TV.
