Senior Creative Editor for Great Museums, Al Abronski, a thirty-five year veteran of the television industry, has edited numerous award-winning projects from commercials to documentaries.  For Turner Broadcasting, Al completed the fifty-four episode, award winning “Portrait of America” series, the prestigious “World of Audubon” series and “Cousteau: The First Seventy-Five Years”.  Al edited “Branford Marsalis: Steep” a feature length concert film on one of America’s foremost saxophone players.  He has also completed projects for PBS, HGTV, CBS Sports and the History Channel.  Al joined the Great Museums team in 2006 and has worked on 8 episodes including “New Orleans, A Living Museum of Music”, “The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum”, “The Great Museums of Havana” and “The Museum of Modern Art”.

Senior Creative Editor Bobby Jones joined the Great Museums team in 2003, just as the series was transitioning to high definition.  His considerable experience and contributions have helped established the Great Museums style.  He has also edited documentaries and series for The History Channel and The National Geographic Channel during his 40 year career. He has won a National ACE Award for Best Editing of a Documentary Special for TNT.  Shows that he edited for Great Museums, NOVA and The History Channel have been honored with CINE Golden Eagles. Through the years Bobby has been a film editor, telecine colorist, and Avid/FCP editor. He’s a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Radio, TV, & Motion Pictures.

Ron Heidt, senior creative editor, HD and 3D specialist, brings a depth of knowledge to any project that he touches. Called upon by agencies, indie filmmakers and television broadcast producers, Ron is among the best when it comes to HD and 3D. Major broadcast equipment manufacturers regularly call on Ron to help beta test their products. He has put in 25-plus years to becoming an award-winning editor, effects compositor and producer. His editorial projects range from commercial, promotional work, episodic, entertainment television and independent feature films. Some of Ron’s clients include JWT/ATL, Turner Broadcasting, The Weather Channel, Echo Pictures’ “Great Museums” and the indie film “The Singing Revolution.

Sound Designer

Steve Warner, creative sound designer, has extensive audio engineering experience. From Babyface to Toni Braxton, he has mixed for some of America’s favorite music artists. The musician inside him stirs up a keen sense of sound. Steve’s goal is to go the extra mile for his clients. His reward: the positive reaction to the end product. His award-winning style attracts clients like BET for its episodic program “Somebodies,” CNN, the bounce agency, BBDO and Echo Pictures.


Jeff BaumanJeff Bauman
Senior Colorist

Jeff decided to cut his teeth in post after graduating from Emerson College in Boston. He made the big move from the East Coast to LA and spent eight years honing his skills at Modern VideoFilm, Ascent Media and RIOT. Jeff combines speed and technique to collaborate countless looks for his clients. Credits include work for Toyota, Carmax, Perkins, The Coca-Cola Company, JWT, BBDO and Ames Scullin O’Hare. Jeff is an expert on the Baselight as well as the daVinci 2K Color Correction system.


Linda HeathLinda Heath
Transcriptionist

An integral part of the GREAT MUSEUMS post production team, Linda Heath is an Atlanta native and President of Word Pro Services, Inc. Linda began providing transcription services to the Atlanta area over 20 years ago. Word Pro Services expanded nationally in the mid ‘90s, specializing in transcription for the video and documentary industry and has provided transcription services for Great Museums since its first year.  She has also worked on numerous other Echo Pictures’ projects.
